Delegation of Syrian community in Sweden visits Army’s wounded personnel

Damascus, SANA- In appreciation of the sacrifices made by the Syrian Arab Army personnel in defending the homeland and protecting its dignity, a delegation of Syrian expatriates in Sweden paid a visit to the Army’s wounded personnel at Martyr Yusuf al-Azmah Hospital in Damascus.

Head of delegation, Sabri Ayyoub, pointed out that aim of the visit is to build bridges of solidarity between the Syrian community and their motherland which is exposed to a war orchestrated by the tools of international imperialism and funded by Arab states in service of Israel and its plan to break up the region.

He stressed the Syrian community’s support for the Syrian Arab Army in protecting the homeland and its steadfastness in confronting terrorism.

For his part, Bahij Bahko a member of the delegation and president of the Syrian Swedish Peace Association (SSAP) said that the delegation has a message to convey about what is happening in Syria to the western people and media, calling on the Syrian expats to show all forms of support to their homeland.

Members of delegation wished the Army’s wounded personnel a speedy recovery.

The delegation includes Syrians expatriates and two Swedish journalists.
