Damascus, SANA-Competent authorities started on Wednesday to pump large quantities of the US dollar in the market with 290 SYP against one USD.
A source told SANA that big quantities of the foreign currency were distributed to the Syrian cities for direct inference in the change price to sell the dollar by 290 SYP.
The source added that a number of money-change companies began carrying out the selling process with 290 SYP against the one dollar.
