Damascus, SANA – A ceremony to honor families of artists who were martyred during the crisis in Syria was held on Friday at Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts in Damascus.
The ceremony, organized by Syriatel and Ninar FM radio station, in cooperation with the Information and Culture Ministries, included musical performances by Ornina Orchestra conducted by Taher Mamelli.
Speaking at the opening of the ceremony, actor Dureid Lahham said that the bravery of the martyrs’ families gives Syrians hope to continue living, expressing gratitude for all initiatives that honor and care for the relatives and families of martyrs.
