Mogherini: Solving crisis in Syria can be reached through political process with participation of all parties

Brussels, SANA- The European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini has declared that the solution to the crisis in Syria can be reached through a “political process of negotiations” with the participation of all the parties including the representatives of the Syrian government.

Russia Today TV channel quoted Mogherini, in a press statement after the meeting of the EU foreign ministers on Monday, as saying that the EU met representatives of the Syrian government to discuss a political settlement to the crisis because “The settlement must include all the parties.”

Mogherini affirmed that the EU stance towards the situations in Syria is “clear and has not changed”.

Earlier the foreign ministers of the EU, whose decisions are highly controlled by France and England, announced that they support finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria, calling upon all the parties which have an impact on all the powers in the country to push all of them to reduce violence and to participate in the political process.
