Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry announced Tuesday that the forces of Kiev regime attempted to target Moscow city with eight drones, and the air defenses managed to destroy them all.
“Eight drones, affiliated with Kiev regime, were destroyed as they attempted Tuesday morning to carry out a terrorist attack on facilities in Moscow city,” RT website quoted the ministry as saying in a statement
The ministry added that three drones were intercepted by electronic defenses, as they lost control and deviated from their specified targets, while five drones were downed by Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile system in Moscow.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that drones had crashed into two residential buildings in the west and southwest of Moscow.
Sobyanin said that the attack did not result in any serious injuries, stressing that only two people requested medical assistance and there was no need for hospital treatment, while the authorities began investigations into the incident.
