Abdollahian: Syrian, Iranian relations are deep and strategic

Beirut, SANA-Iranian foreign minister, Hussein Amir Abdollahian described Syrian-Iranian relations as “excellent, deep and strategic.”

Abdollahian, during a press conference held at the conclusion of his visit to Lebanon, welcomed progress of relations between Syria and the Arab world.

“Synchronizing with the Saudi-Iranian talks, a dialogue between Damascus and Riyadh launched and an important agreement has been made about the restoration of relations,” Abdollahian said.

He added a program has been set for the visit of President Ebrahim Raisi to Syria in the coming period.
