Jordan sends seven aid trucks for quake victims in Syria

Daraa, SANA- A new Jordanian convoy with aid for quake-affected people entered Syrian territory on Monday passing through Nassib border crossing.

“The convoy comprises seven trucks provided by the Jordanian Government and Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, loaded with foodstuffs, shelter supplies and medicines for international organizations in Syria”, director of Nassib crossing, Eng. Shadi Abazid said in a statement.

Abazid added that the trucks have been unloaded under supervision of the disaster management team at Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch in Daraa, in order to distribute the relief materials among the affected provinces.

On Sunday, nine trucks, also loaded with foodstuffs, medicines and shelter supplies provided by Jordanian government entered Syrian territory through Nassib border crossing.
