Minister Makhlouf discusses ways to ease the repercussions of the earthquake with Bahraini delegation

Damascus,SANA- Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Chairman of the Higher Committee for Relief, Hussein Makhlouf, discussed with the Secretary-General of the Royal Bahraini Foundation for Humanitarian works, Dr. Mustafa al-Sayed and an accompanying delegation , means of coordination and cooperation to deliver the humanitarian aid to the affected people and inspect the needs, within the framework of the support provided by Bahrain Kingdom to ease the repercussions of earthquake.

Minister Makhlouf said The doubling efforts of all governmental and civil agencies, in addition to the support of brotherly and friendly countries, contributed to addressing the repercussions of this catastrophe and repairing the gap between our needs and our capabilities, which was caused by the terrorist war and the unjust blockade on our country.

He added” The support of Bahrain Kingdom has had a great impact on the Syrians, and I thank the Bahraini people, government and leadership for standing by Syria during these circumstances, which reflects the strength of the relations between the two brotherly countries.

In turn, Dr. Al-Sayed underlined the importance of the historical relations between the two brotherly countries, Syria and Bahrain, indicating that urgent aid was provided to those affected by the earthquake, and there is a continuation of providing more of it.
