Damascus, SANA-The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Sudan, Abu Bakr Omar Al-Bishri, discussed with the agricultural and technical delegation accompanying Dr. Nasr Al-Din Al-Obaid, Director General of the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands “ACSAD”, ways to develop cooperation and implement joint projects.
The two sides discussed Sudan’s initiative on food security and ACSAD’s contribution to supporting this initiative and benefiting from its experiences and scientific research that it is conducting in a way that supports the efforts of the Sudanese Ministry of Agriculture and Forests in sustainable development, in addition to evaluating the activities and joint projects being implemented.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD) in Damascus.
