Solidarity convention in Damascus in support of Palestinian detainees by Israeli occupation

Damascus, SANA- A solidarity meeting was held  Monday in the Palestinian National Council(PNC) headquarter in Damascus in support of the prisoners and detainees in the Israeli occupation’s prisons .

The attendees ,  at the meeting organized by Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP),called on the international community and the human rights institutions to intervene urgently to protect the prisoners and put pressure on the occupation and oblige it to apply the rules of international humanitarian law and liberate them from captivity.

The participants also  renewed their support for the prisoners and their solidarity with them in light of the violations and brutal practices they are being subjected to by the occupation authorities amid international silence, stressing the need for stepping up the Palestinian people’s resistance against the occupation and strengthening ties with the countries and forces of the resistance axis supporting the Palestinian rights.
