Pakistan determined to boost relations with Syria

Islamabad, SANA- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, stressed his country’s determination to develop relations with Syria in various domains.

Minster Zardari, meeting with Charge de Affairs at the Syrian Embassy in Islamabad Mazen Obeid, described the bilateral relation as fruitful, stating “the two countries didn’t abandon each other during war years”.

He asserted Pakistan’s insistence to bolster the relation with Syria for the benefit of the two countries.

For his part, Obeid voiced Syria’s appreciation for Pakistan’s supportive efforts in political, economic and social domains, stressing the need for enhancing the bilateral commerce.

The Ambassador hailed forming Pakistan-Syrian Business Council along with exchanging expertise and visits between businessmen, underlining that the bilateral relations have begun to take broader curve after signing the culture agreements and resuming flights.
