ATP deprives Russian-born Kazakh player Rybakina from ranking points

Moscow, SANA- The International Tennis Federation deprived, the Russian-born Kazakh tennis player Elena Rybakina winner of Wimbledon’s grass-court Grand Slam tournament, from ranking point of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP)  ranking under the pretext of her country’s  invasion of Ukraine, according to Russia Today website.

RT added that the women’s and men’s professional tours announced on Friday that they will not award ranking points to players at Wimbledon’s grass-court Grand Slam tournament because of the All England Club’s decision to ban players from Russia and Belarus over the war on Ukraine.

Rybakina retained the 23rd line of the ranking of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
