Al-Jaafari highlights the important role of Syrian expatriates in conveying real image of war on Syria

 Damascus, SANA- Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari affirmed the importance of the role of expatriates in conveying and clarifying the true image of the war on Syria in the societies in which they live in.

Meeting a delegation of the Syrian expatriates on Sunday, al-Jaafari stressed the need for organizing the work of the expatriates in associations that unite their efforts and make their voice known to the authorities of the countries in which they reside in .

Al-Jaafari explained to the delegation the negative impacts of the illegitimate unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria, particularly on consular work in embassies, such as closing some Syrian embassies and honorary consulates in many countries and closing bank accounts of some Syrian embassies abroad.

He listened to the difficulties of consular work which the expatriates face and ways to solve them.
