Damascus, SANA-Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Bashar Al-Jaafari, discussed with a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization Ahmed Abu Houli and the Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Syria Samir al-Rifai, the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, and the situation of Palestinian refugees in Syria and the host countries.
Al-Jaafari voiced Syria’s consistent stance on the fact that the Palestinian cause is the central one and its continued support for the struggle of the Palestinian people and their legitimate resistance in order to end the Israeli occupation and restore their usurped legitimate rights guaranteed by international legitimacy resolutions.
These rights are legally secured, and that all attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause are always doomed to failure, al-Jaafari added.
For his part, Abu Houli expressed his great gratitude for Syria’s principled stances in support of the Palestinian people and their inalienable rights.
He explained that Syria’s steadfastness in its war against terrorist organizations supported by some Western countries and the Israeli occupation entity contributed to strengthening the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and protecting the rights of Palestinian refugees in International forums.
