Missile attack targets a base for Turkish regime near Mosul

Baghdad, SANA- A missile attack targeted on Saturday a military base belonging to the Turkish regime near the city of Mosul, Nineveh Governorate, northern Iraq.

The Iraqi Alsumaria TV quoted a security source as saying that “the Zlikan base, where Turkish forces are stationed near Mosul, was targeted by missiles.”

The base itself was subjected to a similar missile attack last April.

In late 2015, the Turkish regime forces violated the sanctity of Iraqi territory and stationed in the Bashiqa area near Mosul, which the Iraqi government considered an aggression against Iraq and a violation of its sovereignty and a violation of the rules of international law and demanded the withdrawal of Turkish forces.
