Prime Minister: Syria has enough stockpile of oil and wheat

Damascus, SANA-Prime Minister, Hussein Arnous, affirmed that the government will spare no effort to improve the livelihood of workers according to the available potentials and capabilities.

Arnous extended congratulations to the labor sector on the occasion of Labors’ Day and Eid al-Fitr, conveying greetings of President Bashar al-Assad to them.

He stressed that Syria has enough stockpile of wheat and oil productions.

Earlier, the second day of the 6^th Session of the of the Council of the General Federation of Trade Unions started activities on Thursday in the presence of Prime Minister and a number of ministers.

The council discussed the economic, productive, service, labor and union reality, reports of the executive office of the federation, professional unions and provincial labor unions submitted to the council, and the results of the annual union conferences for the current year.
