Donetsk: 587 people evacuated from Mariupol City

Donetsk, SANA- The regional defense headquarters of the Donetsk People’s Republic announced that 587 people, including 96 children had been evacuated from the Ukrainian city of Mariupol to the village of Bizymenoy in the Novoazovsky town during the past 24 hours.

Russia Today cited the headquarters as saying in a statement on Tuesday that the people who have been evacuated are currently in a center for providing assistance to civilians, which was set up by the forces of the Ministry of Emergencies in Donetsk Republic.

The statement indicated that 16,342 people have been evacuated to the village of Bizymenoy so far, where humanitarian services are being provided to them.
