Temperatures below average, rain expected over some regions

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 3 to 6 degrees below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the sky will be partly cloudy in general, rain showers are expected over the northern, central and al –Jazeera regions, warning against the formation of frost and fog on the mountainous heights.

The winds will be western to southwesterly of moderate speed with active gusts, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperature degrees in some main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 13/5, Homs 12/4, Hasaka 12/2, Lattakia 15/6, Aleppo 10/2 and Deir Ezzor 15/7
