Moscow, SANA-Russian long-range MiG-31K interceptors and Tu-22M3 strategic bombers, carrying hypersonic Kinzhal missiles, have landed at Hmeimim airbase in Syria, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement on Tuesday.
The aircrafts are set to take part in massive naval exercise in the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea.
Since September 2015, Russia, along the Syrian Arab Army, has been participating in the war on terrorism upon a request by the Syrian Arab Republic.
