Moscow, SANA-President of the Russian Republic of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, said his country intends to run flights to Syria through the Russian province of Kuban and Armenia.
Sputnik News Agency quoted President Aksyonov as saying on Tuesday that Crimea seeks to run flights with Syria through the cities of Sochi, Anapa and Yerevan, and there is coordination to carry out this issue.
Aksyonov, during a meeting with a Syrian economic delegation on Monday, affirmed his country’s relentless efforts to develop commercial partnership programs with Syria.
Meanwhile, permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea under the President of Russia, Georgy Muradov, said that the Crimean ports could become the main southern sea ports for Russia as part of the development of trade and economic relations with Syria and they are open to the supply of marketable products to and from Syria without fear of any sanctions.
A Syrian economic delegation, headed by the Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Muhammad Samer al-Khalil, arrived in Crimea on Monday to hold talks about prospects of joint cooperation between the two sides.
