Damascus, SANA – Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources, Bassam Tohme said on Saturday that new gas field was discovered in Zamlat al-Mahr 1 well in Palmyra, Homs countryside.
The ministry said on its page on Facebook that evaluation of the production volume of the well to be linked with the gas network during the coming period, as well as more wells will be dug near it to evaluate the gas reserve in the area.
