Aleppo, SANA- Prime Minister, Hussein Arnous, said that the vital and developmental projects that were put into service in Aleppo and its countryside valued at more than SYP 20 billion that covered lands irrigation, introducing new areas for agriculture, expanding electric power generation, and rehabilitating roads, bridges and city entrances, damaged by terrorism.
Arnous, meeting civil activities, members of the People’ s Assembly, members of the city councils and directors of public institutions, said that the government support will continue to implement more renewable energy projects, which will help improve and increase supply of electrical power, in addition to securing oil products to achieve stability in the distribution of these materials.
He added that the electrical interconnection project to supply Lebanon with Jordanian power through Syrian lands will help improve the energy situation in the country.
For his part, Governor of Aleppo, Hussein Diab, said that more than 18,600 industrial facilities have returned to production, adding that UNESCO’s inscription of Qudud Halabiya on World human heritage list affirms the civilization and heritage feature of this city.
