Homs, SANA – Authorities seized an amount of detonators that are used for making explosive devices hidden inside a vehicle on the international highway near Homs, SANA reporter said.
While searching the vehicle that was heading to Aleppo, authorities found 11 reels of blasting caps and 65 detonator boxes hidden inside it, a source in the province, located in central Syria, was quoted as saying.
1 kg of hashish was also found in the vehicle, according to the source, who noted that the four people who were aboard were arrested.
On January 11, authorities, in cooperation with the locals, found a depot containing various types of weapons and ammunition, some of which are Israeli-made, in Kafer’aya in the countryside of Homs.
