Al-Jaafari, Khair Allah: Challenges require intensifying cooperation between Syria and Iraq

Damascus, SANA- Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Bashar al-Jaafari, discussed on Thursday with senior Undersecretary of the Iraqi Foreign Affairs’ Ministry, Nizar al-Khair Allah and an accompanying delegation issues of common interest between the two brotherly countries and ways to boost bilateral relations and push them forward.

Al-Jaafari stressed the geopolitical importance of both countries, adding that the fateful challenges that encounter both states require them to increase joint cooperation.

He briefed Khair Allah on a number of issues that require intensifying cooperation and coordination to improve the economic and social conditions of citizens in both brotherly countries, most importantly water and the systematized crime.

For his part, Khair Allah said that development of bilateral relations has become an inevitable necessity to face the social, economic and political challenges.
