Temperatures to drop, showers expected

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly drop in most regions, yet remaining above average as a superficial high pressure, accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere, will affect the country.

In its Wednesday bulletin, Meteorology Department expected that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a little chance for showers over the coastal, northwestern and al-Jazeera regions.

At night, the weather will be relatively cold, especially over the mountains, and the wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to a moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 24/10, Daraa 25/10, Homs 25/7, Hasaka 23/8, Tartous 27/15, Aleppo 24/7, Deir Ezzor 26/10
