Health Ministry: 150 new coronavirus cases recorded, 40 patients recover, 6 pass away

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 150 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria, 40 coronavirus patients recovered while 6 others passed away.

The Ministry, in a statement, said that the total number of infections recorded in the country has reached up to 29,648 till now, of which 22,792 have recovered, while 2,083 others have passed away.

The first coronavirus was detected in Syria on March 22^nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was reported on the 29^th of the same month.
