Temperatures below average, rain showers expected over coastal areas

Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will remain slightly below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general and cloudy over coastal and central regions, local rain showers are expected over those areas.

 The winds will be westerly to southwesterly of moderate speed and active gusts and the sea waves will be medium in height.

The expected temperatures in some major cities will be as follows: Damascus   31/17, Homs 29/19   ,Tartous 31/24 ,Lattakia 31/24 ,Aleppo     32/21 .
