Moscow, SANA-Minister of Endowments, Mohamed Abdel-Sattar al-Sayyed, affirmed that the West created and developed extremism which ruined countries and societies and invested it everywhere.
“We came to you from Syria, the heart of the Central Levant (Bilad al-sham), which throughout history has carried the values of Islam with its openness and moderation and witnessed the finest examples of fraternity among heavenly laws.” Minister al-Sayyed said during his Friday sermon at the Great Blue Mosque in St. Petersburg, Russia, in the presence of a large crowd of worshipers.
He added that the battle that the Syrian Arab Army carries on aims to preserve that model.
He affirmed that the West is trying to make organizations such as Daesh , “al-Qaeda” and “al-Nusra” as representatives of Islam.
