Damascus, SANA-Equestrian, Amr Hamsho, was crowned hero of the Republic Championship for Show Jumping for the upper category, which was held by the Equestrian Federation for all categories at Martyr Basel Al-Assad Equestrian Club of Dimas in Damascus countryside.
The tournament, which was held in the presence of the honorary president of the Equestrian Federation, the equestrian, Mrs. Manal Al-Assad, witnessed strong competitions, and during its opening an exhibition match was held in table tennis for the champion Hind Zaza, the youngest player to participate in the Tokyo 2021 Olympics, and champion Obeida Zaza, the youngest player to win the Republic Championship for men.
Hamsho came first in the ranking of the upper category A, whose competitions were held for a height of 145 cm. Equestrian Bushra al-Assad came in the second place, followed by Laith al-Ali in the third place.
