Damascus, SANA, Syrian Investment Agency included 58 projects during 2014 in different provinces with a cost estimated at SYP 49 billion and 742 million.
Head of the Agency, Hala Ghazal told SANA that there are 15 projects underway in the domain of industry with an investment cost estimated at SYP 15 billion and 127 million.
Four agricultural projects have been carried out with an estimated value of SYP 174 million in the southern province of Sweida, Ghazal added.
“As a step for facilitating work and in preparation for the reconstruction stage, the Commission made a direct network connection with sub-agencies, ministries and one-window bodies relevant to the Commission,” Ghazal clarified.
She pointed out that the Commission has received foreign delegations comprising businessmen, investors and owners of companies from Venezuela and Poland as well as the delegation of the Syrian-Russian Business Council where they got acquainted with the investment opportunities in the country.
