Amman, SANA- Jordan announced reopening two land crossings with Syria and Saudi Arabia to travelers, nearly nine months after they were closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
“As of today, the land platform at the Al-Omari Border Center with Saudi Arabia was activated by 200 passengers per day and at Jaber-Nassib Border Center by 150 passengers per day according to adopted health conditions, in order to facilitate and simplify measures” Jordanian News Agency quoted the Ministry of Interior as saying in a statement on Monday.
The Ministry called on those wishing to enter Jordan through those two crossings to register on a dedicated government electronic platform and conduct a Corona PCR test five days before their arrival in order to obtain approval for entry.
