Health Ministry: 138 new coronavirus cases recorded, 120 patients recover, 9 pass away

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 138 new coronavirus cases were recorded, adding that 120 cases recovered while 9 others passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry added that the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 21,142 till now, of which 14,841 have recovered and 1,446 others have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22^nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was registered on the 29^th of the same month.
