Temperatures below average, clear to partly cloudy weather

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures tend to rise, yet they still below average from 3 to 4 degrees for this period of the year as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by north western currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere .

Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general with weak opportunity of local rain showers over coastal, northwestern region and al-Jazeera during the day hours and it will be relatively cold at night, frost may occur on mountainous heights.

The wind will be northwestern between low to moderate in speed, sometimes active with dust in the eastern, al-Badia region and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major cities will be in Damascus   18/6, Homs 15/8, Tartous 17/13, Lattakia 17/13, Aleppo 18/6   , Hama 17/7.
