Health Ministry: 77 new coronavirus cases registered, 85 cases recover, 5 pass away

Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced that 77 new coronavirus cases were registered in the country, 85 patients infected with the virus have recovered while 5 others have passed away.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry said that the total number of Coronavirus cases in the country reached 16478 of which 10970 cases recovered and 1099 passed away.

The first Coronavirus case registered in Syria was reported on March 22nd last year and the first mortality from the virus was recorded one week later.
