Damascus, SANA-Syrian young man, Jaafar Badran, from the city of Jableh, discovered a security hacker on the social networking site / Facebook / that let “hackers “use devices of subscribers.
This achievement was recognized by the site’s management and added his name to its external developers.
Badran told SANA that the discovered hacker loophole allows hackers to track devices and acquire information about users by leaking IP addresses to their cellular devices through personal photos taken by their cameras that determine their detailed location precisely.
He added that the small and large international companies have a department specialized in security research, including Facebook, whose management was studying changing the general look and feel of the site, which made it more vulnerable to penetration.
Badran addressed a message to the skilled Syrian youth that the strong will, determination, confidence and perseverance are the keys for success in overcoming all obstacles, adding that “As Syrians, we are proud to represent Syria and enhance its scientific and creative position in the world.
