Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- Israeli occupation forces demolished 869 homes and facilities and uprooted 6,507 fruitful trees in the West Bank during the past year.
The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, in a statement quoted by Wafa News Agency, noted that the total number of demolitions carried out by the occupation forces against facilities and homes of the Palestinians amounted to 869, most of which were concentrated in the cities of Jerusalem, Hebron and Tubas, where the demolition rate exceeded 65% of the total demolition in the West Bank.
The report pointed out that 817 demolition notifications for homes and an establishment in the West Bank were handed over by the Israeli occupation authorities.
The report indicated that the occupation forces and settlers have escalated their attacks on Palestinian agricultural lands to displace the Palestinians and usurp their lands, noting that they uprooted 6,507 fruitful trees, most of them were olive and grape trees.
