Damascus, SANA-Mrs. Asma al-Assad said that the rise of the countries wouldn’t be achieved except by education and knowledge that lead to a better future, stressing the importance of the electronic platform launched by Distinction and Creativity Agency in providing remote education and training systems that go along with development and secure safe spacing for all learners and trainers.
Mrs. Asma al-Assad, in a speech to the national teams participating in Syrian Scientific Olympiad competitions 2021 and their teachers, considered that E-learning is no longer just an additional advantage, but rather it has become an essential part of education and a necessity in the post-Corona era.
“ The electronic platform which is a form of remote education , represents today a contemporary national achievement and an experiment that must be conveyed and circulated at the level of the education sector in Syria as remote education saves time, effort and money as well as, it achieves justice so that the information becomes available to all students in all regions and the distinguished teacher is no longer connected to a specific geographical area,” Mrs. Asmaa said.
The Distinction and Creativity Agency concluded on Wednesday the Syrian Scientific Olympiad competitions for the 2020/2021 season and crowned the first 15 winners who will join the national teams for the Olympiad in the specializations of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and informatics, at Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts theatre in Damascus.
