Two American newspapers… Turkey sends mercenaries from northern Syria to fight in Nagorno-Karabakh region

Washington, SANA- The American Wall Street Journal and Washington Post confirmed Turkish regime’s involvement in sending a large number of terrorist mercenaries to fight in disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which is fueling the conflict in that region.

The Wall Street Journal, quoting its sources, as saying that Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s regime had sent hundreds of mercenaries of the armed groups under its control in northern Syria to the conflict zone in Karabakh, asserting that they participated in the battles between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The Paper also stressed that hundreds of terrorist mercenaries have been prepared to travel there, indicating that the Turkish regime had conducted military trainings for those mercenaries in Azerbaijan, and it also sent drones.

In mid of last September, groups of 100 militants were sent to the fighting zone, the Paper said, asserting that the militants go there only for money.

For its part, The Washington Post quoted one of the mercenaries as saying that they were sent from southern Turkey to Azerbaijan and their only motive for this was money, and on the day after their arrival they were sent to the front lines.

The Turkish regime has not only supported terrorism militarily and logistically, and its occupation of parts of Syrian territories, but also it recruited its media outlets to promote terrorist organizations and spread hatred against all peoples and countries that reject its policies.
