Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced on Monday that 56 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria, adding that 35 patients have recovered while 4 others have passed away.
In a statement to SANA, the ministry indicated that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country till now has reached at 4774 out of which 1331 ones have recovered while 228 have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was registered in the country on March 22nd while the first mortality was reported on 29th of the same month.
