Syrian football team to play several friendly matches within new phase of preparations  

Damascus, SANA- The Syrian men’s national football team will start a new stage of training in the next month through which it will play a number friendly matches in framework of its preparation for completing its competitions in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 Asian Cup.

The national team will start an external training camp in the United Arab Emirates at the beginning of next month, during which it will play a friendly match with the Kuwaiti national team on the twelfth of next month, while it will play a second friendly match with the Uzbekistani national team on the twelfth of next November, and five days later it will play a third friendly match with its Emirati counterpart.

The national football conducted local training during the past month in Damascus and Lattakia through two training camps under the supervision of its Tunisian coach Nabil Maaloul within the preparation plan, during which it has focused on strength exercises to raise the physical level, in addition to focusing on the technical aspect and some tactical issues.
