Three gas wells to be put into service with production capacity of 700 thousand cubic meters per day

Damascus, SANA- Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources has announced the readiness of three gas wells to be put into service, with a total production capacity estimated at 700,000 cubic meters of gas per day.

 The Ministry said in a statement to SANA on Monday that its cadres have been able to complete the repair works at the wells of Abu Rabah 10 and Sharq al-Arak 1 as well as the drilling works at the well of al-Sharifeh 6 in the central region, and that the three wells are ready to be put into service and to start producing gas.

 On the 23^rd of last May, the Ministry put the Qara 8 well into service with a production capacity estimated at 150,000 cubic meters of gas per day.
