Damascus, SANA-Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 72 new coronavirus infections were registered, while one case has passed away.
The Ministry said in a statement to SANA that the infections’ toll registered in Syria reached at 1327, of which 385 cases have recovered and 53 ones have passed away.
The first coronavirus infection registered in the country was on March 22nd for a person who came from abroad while the first death case was registered on the 29th of the same month.
