Damascus, SANA – Ministry of Health announced that anti-polio vaccination campaign for the children under five years old will start Sunday and will last for five days at all health and makeshift centers and through mobile medical teams.
“All technical and logistic measures have been taken to reach all children regardless of their previous vaccinations and the vaccination is free” Minister of Health Nizar Yazigi told SANA.
Yazagi added that the vaccinations are brought from major corporations in the world and they are given to children according to the approved standards and through qualified cadres.
The campaign was scheduled on No. 23, but it was postponed to Nov. 30 due to weather conditions.
