Daraa, SANA- A civilian was injured on Monday evening in a blast of an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by terrorists in Ataman town in Daraa northern countryside.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Commander of Daraa Police Brig. Gen Dirar al-Dandal said “The explosive device had been planted by unidentified terrorists and it went off near a car office in Ataman town causing the injury of a civilian.”
In a relevant context, al-Dandah noted that the competent authorities found a detonation device in al-Panorama area in Daraa City a day after dismantling a booby-trapped motorcycle in the same area.
On June 21st, an explosive device went off in al-Kashef neighborhood in Daraa City as a civilian was martyred, in addition to causing material damage to the place.
