Homs, SANA – A number of displaced persons who were detained at al-Rukban camp by the US occupation forces returned on Friday and managed to reach areas under the control of the Syrian Arab Army.
SANA reporter in Palmyra said that 11 displaced persons reached areas controlled by the Syrian Arab Army coming from al-Rukban camp in al-Tanf area on the Syrian-Iraqi borders where they had been held against their will.
The reporter said that these persons will be transported to temporary housing centers after they undergo the necessary medical tests to ensure that they are not infected with any infectious diseases, including Coronavirus (COVID-19).
