Zarif: U.S. illegitimate presence in Syria aims to steal oil

Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif affirmed that the illegitimate presence of U.S. troops in Syria doesn’t aim at combating terrorists, but it seeks to steal the Syrian oil.

In a tweet published Tuesday, Zarif said the U.S. President Donald Trump has admitted something which we all know which is that the U.S. troops are deployed in Syria for stealing its oil.

The Iranian Foreign Minister indicated that the U.S. hasn’t fought Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization, and it has also committed the coward crime of assassinating Leader of Iranian Quds Force Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
