European Commission expresses concern over Turkish regime’s disrespect of international law

Brussels, SANA- The European Commission expressed concern over the Turkish regime’s behavior and its disrespect of the international law.

Aki – Italian News Agency quoted President of European Commission Ursula von der Leyen during a press conference she held in Brussels on Wednesday as saying “The Commission is worried about the behavior of Turkey, its violation of the sovereignty of the neighboring states, and its disrespect of the international law.”

Two days ago, the Commission called on the Turkish regime to stop its policies and practices which destabilize the region, and to adhere to the good-neighborly relations.

Foreign Ministers of the European Union (EU) last month agreed on imposing economic sanctions on the Turkish regime due to its violation of the international law through its activities of drilling for gas off coast of Cyprus.
