Iraqi President: Trump’s declaration on occupied Syrian Golan rejected

Baghdad, SANA- Iraqi President Barham Salih reiterated his country’s rejection of US President’s Donald Trump’s proclamation on the occupied Syrian Golan.

President Salih, interviewed by the Associated Press Agency at the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, said that the Golan is a Syrian land occupied since 1967.

On March 25th, Trump declared his recognition of annexing the occupied Syrian Golan to the Israeli occupation entity in a blatant attack against Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Meanwhile, Syria declared its categorical rejection of that proclamation, indicating that it disregards the international legitimacy and it deals a blow to the international community.
