Zasypkin: International bodies hinder return of displaced Syrians to their homeland

Beirut, SANA- Russia’s Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Zasypkin affirmed that the Syrian state has taken all the required measures to facilitate the return of the Syrians who were displaced due to terrorism to their homeland, yet there are some international bodies which are hindering their return.

In a TV interview on Wednesday evening, Zasypkin hailed the readiness of the Syrian Government and the measures it has taken to receive all the displaced whether from Lebanon or other areas.

He shed light on the rehabilitating process carried out by the Syrian Government in all parts of the areas which have been liberated by the Syrian Arab Army.

On Tuesday, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vassily Nebenzia affirmed during a session of the Security Council on the situation in Syria that hundreds of thousands of displaced Syrians returned to their homeland either from Lebanon or Jordan after liberating their villages and towns from terrorism and after the Syrian Government prepared the suitable conditions for their return.
