Sahab 73, a plane designed and built by Syrians during the war

Damascus, SANA – Despite the terrorist war imposed on Syria for more than seven years, creative Syrian minds never ceased to innovate and create, producing the Syrian aircraft Sahab 73, designed for pilot training and sport.

The lightweight plane, which was designed and built by Syrian engineers, fits one pilot and one passenger, with an average speed of 180 kph at a maximum altitude of 4000 meters.

The plane, which is on display at Damascus International Fair, is 5.9 meters long, 2.2 meters high, and has a wing span of 8.5 meters.
